Thank you ladies! This particular piece of holly was not at all shiny, like what I decorate with from my holly shrubs or thinner trees. This was a piece from our large holly tree. ...thus the duller look. :) I should have sent you some holly, Noel! We must have 30 or more shrubs/trees in our yard! Next year remind me!!

Thanks Ronelle! I don't like mixing greens with gouache as much as I do watercolor, but it is a nice change from time to time. :)
