N & O

N.O, I haven't forgotten my alphabet series nor the order of letters in the alphabet. :)  My scanner will not pick up some of the paler colors of some botancials, so until my camera is repaired (N.O, that is not another excuse, I really did drop and break it!) ...I will jump on over to N & O.
N is for Nasturtium
O is for Orchid
...and Obsessed with trying to get One I really liked. O is such a hard letter to draw...so here are four attempts at O and the Overfastidious Orchid.
It also gave me a chance to finally use the botancial lessons from several books I have collected over the years.
N.O more excuses ~ I will get back on track with this series very soon!

~Have a beautiful weekend!~

  3. Gorgeous work Dana!!! You are spoiling us with all these delicious variations. I think "O" is very difficult too. There's no hiding or fudging with it. Yours are beautifully balanced - such a treat for the eye.

  4. Jane, that is why the orchid is place in front of the O - to cover it up somewhat. haha.
    Thanks for your comments.~
